PhotoShop CS6 Crashes while working in 3D

PhotoShop CS6 Crashes while working in 3D

So as you may guess, any time I try a 3D function in photoshop stops working.
It used to work fine, so I can't figure out what the problem is.
I have updated PS and just got the latest driver for my graphics card.
System specs: Win 7 Home basic 32 , 2GB RAM, NVIDIA GeForce 7100 / NVIDIA nForce 630i graphics card.
OpenGL Drawing is enabled.
ATI's Catalyst 12.8 has some installer problems where it doesn't completely supersede the previous driver you had installed. You may have run into them.
This was the information ATI returned to me when I reported the problem to them (I'm not a fan of automatic cleaners, but this is verbatim from them):
Uninstall all ATI drivers and any other video card software from the Add or Remove Programs and Features in the Windows Control Panel. Click on AMD Catalyst install manager, click change and then choose the option to express remove all AMD software.
Try using a driver cleaner program to make sure the drivers are removed: Please keep in mind that the (Driver Cleaner / Driver Sweeper are 3rd party software and not supported by AMD) please refer to their websites for instruction and guidance.
Disable any running background software such as firewalls and antivirus.
Make sure your operating System has the latest Service Packs and patches / updates.
Make sure your motherboard has the latest BIOS and CHIPSET software (you can get these updates directly from the manufacturer of the motherboard or Computer).
Make sure your power supply has adequate wattage.
Since you have a desktop Radeon HD graphics card in windows then install this driver: http://sites.amd.com/us/game/downloads/Pages/radeon_win7-64.aspx
If the problem still exists please try installing your video card in another PC or try installing another video card in your PC if possible, this will tell us if the issue follows the graphics card or the PC.
Or test your other hardware like RAM, CPU , USB devices…etc to make sure they do not create the problem.
If the problem still exists please download the Belarc Advisor - a free system diagnostics, system information and benchmarking to create a problem report as described: In HTML format and attach file to e-mail.
Download the ‘Belarc Advisor’ from the ‘Products’ tab at the top of the page.
If you are looking for a specific driver, a list of previous drivers can be found here:
See also this thread where I had a similar problem as you, then solved it:

I did all this:
ATI:
1. Unplug nic card or modem from net or disconnect
2. Remove ATI driver from add/remove programs then remove the control panel from add/remove programs
3. Reboot into safe mode (F8 during boot up)
4. On reboot into safe mode WinXP SP1/SP2 will auto detect and install drivers. Just let it do its thing. If you can cancel out of the auto install hardware wizard then skip the rest and run Driver Cleaner! If you can NOT cancel out of auto detect wizard then...
5. Navigate to device manager->display adapter->uninstall and/or remove ATI display adapter but do not reboot
6. Disable any AntiVirus Software (If you don't disable is than it could give trouble)
7. Run Cab Cleaner (not needed, but recommended)
8. Run Driver Cleaner
9. Empty recycle bin and reboot
10. Install the new drivers and control panel
And PS crashed within seconds of opening a 3D file.
